Avalanche danger will remain elevated into the near future due to continued strong winds, relatively warm temperatures, and the potential for snow and rain.  Watch for unstable snow in the alpine, and beware of exposure to avalanche paths that could channel debris from avalanches triggered in the upper elevations.

We are still not yet issuing regular advisories or observations due to thin snow cover. Regular observations and advisories will commence when there is adequate snow cover for reasonable backcountry travel by ski.
