Western Chugach, Chugach State Park, Turnagain Arm, Falls Creek

Ticked off a couple of chutes in Falls Creek. Faceting snow surface in shaded + protected terrain. Slightly wind-affected snow in nonprotected places. Chutes offered nice carvable pow.
Slab avalanche observed below Bird Ridge, west aspect.
Lots of wet loose activity from the previous day(s) on sun-exposed terrain. One particularly large one was observed near the trail that was not there in the morning…
