Public observation:

Recent avalanche on N aspect of Rendezvous Peak. Strong winds have created wind slabs of varying thickness and density along cross-loaded gullies and leeward ridgelines. This avalanche appears to have initiated in an area with shallow snowpack (~25cm), soft slab, and propagated upslope to the ridge where snow was deeper (~1m). Avalanche ran the entire length of gully (see photo) and occurred between 3200-3600′ on N-NW aspect. Snowpack appears to be very reactive on northerly aspects in this area. No instability was observed or detected on any other aspects. Snow depth, density, and coverage is highly variable.
