Eagle River – South Fork – Harp & Lynx area

Red flags (obvious signs of instability):

  • None observed

Weather:

  • Sunny with light SE wind and temps in the 20s (some plumbing observed over higher peaks deeper in the Chugach)

Surface conditions:

  • Generally 3-12″ light, dry snow with exposed windward terrain scoured to old hard wind slab, bare rocks, tundra etc.

Snowpack:
