Avalanche Danger Update

Strong wind and new snow are increasing avalanche danger in the Western Chugach Mountains and Chugach State Park.  Very dangerous avalanche conditions exist.  Travel in avalanche terrain is not recommended.  Natural avalanches are likely and human triggered avalanches are very likely.

High avalanche danger is expected through at least Tuesday.
