Red flags (obvious signs of instability):

Weather:
- Sunny with light SE wind and temps in the 20s (some plumbing observed over higher peaks deeper in the Chugach)
Surface conditions:
- Generally 3-12″ light, dry snow with exposed windward terrain scoured to old hard wind slab, bare rocks, tundra etc.
