Observer Comments
A few more details and photos from the Avalanche reported on Powerline pass yesterday.
ENE wind loaded gully avalanched naturally (Thurs night?) running approx 1K feet, crossing the Powerline pass trail. Hard slab, crown was maybe 50′ wide (3′ deep?) but fanned out at the bottom covering about 150′ of the trail with 2-3′ of debris. Toe of debris didn’t quite make it to the river.
