Observations
South Fork Eagle River:
Toured (skated) back to Eagle Lake area on an excellent, fast crust that stayed great until at least 10:30am (not sure when it transitioned because I was off it, on northerly slopes, until ~4pm).
By mid-late afternoon the snow from the Eagle Lake marshes back to trailhead was completely isothermal and unsupportable, except in areas with deep wind drifts and on the well-traveled trail between trailhead and first bridge. Even the old, well-traveled skin track in the valley was very unsupportable.
Wet slabs up to D3 observed on S and W aspects of Hurdy Gurdy, Eagle, 2 Bowls, 3 Bowls, Death Bowls.
