Moose Pass area Kenai Mountains:
Numerous widely propagating wet slab avalanches at new/old snow interface on multiple aspects, but especially on south to west aspects of LV Ray. Glide cracks opening up on east aspect lower Wrong Mountain. Wet loose avalanches, roller balls, and sun effect on west to northwest aspects LV Ray. Recent snow at higher elevations on solar aspects has not fully “corn-ed up” – mostly supportable on skis, but punchy booting. Firm, dense powder on upper elevation north aspects Madson and LV Ray.
