There’s a lot of creamy Western #Chugach goodness in the sheltered areas of #SoFo but recent natural avalanche activity (persistent slabs, wind slabs, and sluffs on leeward upper elevation terrain), whumphing/collapsing in the mid elevations, and concerning stability tests in upper elevation start zones call for a lot of caution if recreating in #avalanche terrain.
